The idea of organizing a company specializing in bathrooms arose in 1972 from the initiative of Fabián Velarde, a partner in the construction company Guvel, S.A., the brothers Samuel, Isaac, and Miguel Abbo, partners in the hardware store Gigante, S.A., along with Juan Navarro and Eli Abbo. The name BONAVEL was created by harmoniously combining the various surnames of the partners.
